A poem a day – Fibonacci Sequence: Happy Holidays!

christmas-tree

As the holdiday season gets closer we have been making preparations, buying presents and cards so when I discovered Utalaps Fibonacci poem I thought I would give it a go. It took 10 minutes to write and was a lot of fun. Help with sylables can be found here. Enjoy.

Happy Holidays

Joy

At

Being

Together

Peaceful and as one

Sharing our thoughts and emotions

Warmed by our love through short winter days and long dark nights

Voices echo and smiles brighten as they are lit by cracking logs on the open fire

Time slips imperceptibly by as the hall clock chimes

Children play in secret whispers

Catching words in air

Innocence

With peace

And

Love

    • Thanks. It was fun to write. It’s nice to have a challenge and shape poems, haiku etc all make writing more interesting. Any break from what one writes normally is stimulating.

Please comment on my posts I would love to know what you think.
